Minimum ticket size for social venture capital funds?

I’m interested in social venture capital but I don’t have millions lying around. What are realistic minimum investments these days? 25k? 50k? 100k? Or is it still only for ultra-high-net-worth people?

You don’t need to be ultra-wealthy anymore. There are now several serious social VC funds and platforms with minimums between €25,000 and €100,000, and some newer structures even go down to €10,000–€20,000 for qualified investors. I personally started with a €50k commitment and was able to join a diversified fund with a solid track record. The important part is checking that the fees are reasonable (2% management + 20% carry is still standard) and that they provide clear quarterly reporting on both money and impact. A useful overview I found recently that lists realistic entry points and compares conditions across several reputable players is this one: https://www.uniindia.com/social-venture-capitalist-reviews-a-broker-with-transparent-conditions/press-releases/news/3730379.html. It also explains which ones are actually transparent about drawdowns and capital calls. Made it much easier to find something that fits a non-millionaire budget.
